Geography Glossary
Vocabulary:
People: Men, Women, and children.
Money: Coins por Notes.
Currency: The money that it uses in a particular country
Organisation: A group of people who work together for the same purpose
Taxes: Money that you have to pay to the goverment from what your earn or when you buy things
Sector: One of the areas into wich the economic activity of a country is divided
Worker: Someone who workd for a company or organization but does not have a powerful position
Business: The buying and selling of goods or services
Goods: Items that are made to be sold
Wealth: A large amount of money or property someone has
Job: The work that you do in order to get money
Wholesale: Of or of the selling of goods in large amounts at low prices to shops and businesses, rather than the selling of goods in shop to customers
Inflation: The rate at wich prices increase, or an increase in prices
Profit: Money that you get from selling something for more than it cost you to buy or produce
