The Equatorial Landscape.

The Amazon.

Location: Are located near the equator. Two examples are the amazon and th Congo.

Climate: The temperatures are very high, the average 25 degrees. And rainfall it is normal throughout the year.







Rivers: The rivers have a high or regular flow.










Vegetation: Is lush with abunddant plant species (Bushes, grasses and flowers).
These forested areas are know as jungle.Many trees grow very tall.
The type of vegetation varies according to the amount of light avaliable.
Plants that need a lot of light can grow at the higher levels.
But the plants that need a little can grow closer to the ground.

                                                   





 Fauna: It is very varied. There are animals that can climb trees (the monkey).
Many species of birds (the parrot).Reptiles (the lizard.) and insects (termites).
