English Glossary

UNIT 2
Disappointing: Making you feeel disappointed.
Dramatic:  Very sudden or exciting.
Dull: Not interesting.
Enjoyable: It makes you feel happy.
Entertaining: Interesting and helping someone to have an enjoyable time.
Hilarious: Extremelly funny.
Predictable: Not unusual.

Terrifying: Very frightening.
Award: A prize  given to someone for something good they have done.
Bestseller: A very popular book that many people  have bought.

Main Character: A person in a book, movie, etc.
Plot: The things that happen  in a story.

Reveiw: A piece  of writing writing in a newspapaer  that gives an  about a new book, movie, etc.
Setting: The tine and the place in which the action of a book, movie, play,  etc. happens.

Audience: The people who sit and watch a perfomance at a theatre or cinema.
Income:The money that you regularly get.
Joke: A short, funny story that someone tells to make people laugh.
Performer: Someone who acts, sings, dances, or plays music for other people to enjoy.
Ending: The last part of a story.
