UNIT 3

Afford:To have/not have enough money to buy something or enough time to do something.
Bargain: Something that is sold for less than its usual price.
Borrow: To use something that belongs to someone else and then return it to them.
Lend: To give something to someone for a period of time.

Brand: A product that is made by a particular company.
Waste: A bad use of something useful, such as time or money.
Pick up: To choose something or someone.
Customer: A person or organization that buys things or services from a shop or business.
Half-price: Costing half the usual price.
Mild: Food does not have a strong taste.
Sour: Having a sharp taste like a lemon, and not sweet.
Nutritious: Nutritious food contains things that your body needs to stay healthy.
Fill up: To make a container or space full, or to become full.
Queue up: To stand in a row in order to wait for something.
Set up: To arrange a time when something will happen.
Turn up: To arrive.
Wash up: To wash your hands, especially before a meal.
